Jenquip Manual Plate Meter
The Jenquip Manual Plate Meter is an accurate, robust and easy-to-use tool for measuring grass covers and monitoring pasture performance.
The hand-calibrated aluminium plate provides highly repeatable measurements by taking account of both grass height and variations in pasture density. This gives farmers a practical and consistent method of assessing grass covers while walking paddocks.
Two simple mechanical counters record the total of the readings taken and the number of individual readings, making it quick and easy to calculate an average reading for each paddock.
